Cat Command remote control technology provides full dozer maneuverability from a safe distance when working in hazardous environments. Command offers the choice of line-of-sight consoles or long-distance operator stations (non-line-of-sight). By removing the operator from the cab, it eliminates machine vibration, reducing fatigue.

  • Command is a remote control ready dozing option that contributes to job site safety by allowing operators to run a bulldozer remotely in hazardous mining and earthmoving applications.
  • Helps protect operators in jobs like overburden/reclamation work, highwall or stockpile management, ripping overburden or leach pads, slurry pond dozing and operation around hazardous materials or unstable surfaces.
  • Lower potential injuries from slips, trips and falls when climbing on and off machines.
  • Optional Commandfor Dozing is deeply integrated with Cat machine systems to enable smooth, precise control for maximum efficiency and productivity.

  • Operators can quickly and easily switch between Cat Command installed machines, and change jobsite locations, with no downtime.
  • Reduce operator fatigue by eliminating the in-cab effects of vibration, noise, and rough terrain.
  • Control the machine with the same response time as sitting in the cab.
  • Select and activate machine features from the Command Station as though the operator was in the machine.
  • Allow operators who have had medical concerns to return to work and operate machines earlier.

  • Available for select Cat dozers, excavators, and wheel loaders.
  • Allows operator to be positioned for optimal visibility with a 400 meter (437 yd) range.
  • Switch easily between manual or remote mode for versatile operation in all applications.
  • Operator inputs are sent directly to the machine electronics via a dedicated radio transmitter/receiver, resulting in real-time implement control.
  • Does not require any on-site communications infrastructure.
  • Uses 2.4 GHz frequency communications protocol.
  • The machine will shut down if the controller is tipped more than 45 degrees, indicating that the operator has fallen.

NOTE: Command Console is unavailable in Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.

  • Remote operator station is set up similarly to a dozer cab, providing an ergonomic, seated position and familiar control layout.
  • Can be located in a command center onsite or many miles away.
  • Reduces operator fatigue with a comfortable indoor working environment.
  • Operator inputs are sent directly to the machine electronics via a dedicated radio transmitter/receiver, resulting in real-time implement control.
  • Controls deliver the same response time as in the cab, maintaining precise control for all excavator applications.
  • High-quality video delivers a clear view of the work area.
  • Operator sees visuals from the left and right cutting edges, the top/center of the blade and a rearview that includes the ripper.
  • Operators can easily switch between machines, or change jobsites with no downtime.
  • Enables trainers to stand beside an operator, without noise or movement.
